The book I am reviewing today is Moses, Miriam, and Moses's Mom by Grace Uhner.
Grace did the work entirely on her own including the illustrations, editing and binding.
In the first illustration you can see Miriam hiding in the bushes while the Princess sends her servant girl into the water to retrieve the baby Moses.
In the next picture, the Princess is holding the baby and talking to Miriam.
This is the last page of the book. As you can see, Moses's mom is overcome with tears of joy as the Princess (on the right) gives the baby back to her. Miriam, too, is very pleased to have her baby brother back.

ReplyDeletejust read that story to my girls the other day. next time we can use your illustrations, Grace. And I love the tears of happiness--that's just like our God, to give that baby right back to the mommy that loved him so!
